  Had a wonderful (too short!) stay in this hotel in the centre of Positano. Deluxe room beautiful with large terrace and fabulous views, worth the extra. Staff very polite and friendly, great attention to detail. Fantastic food and wine choice in the restaurant, ended up having all our meals there (a first!).   The location was perfect. It was on a beautiful cliff that overlookedthe coast of Positano. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didhave to walk down to the main part of town and then back up to the hotelbut we really enjoyed the walk, especially after we ate in the town.   I first visited Positano 2 years ago. The location of the Savoia is perfect. The family that runs the hotel, and in particular Claudia, are wonderful and very knowledgeable. One truly gets a feel for the region when staying at the Savoia. The breakfast is plentiful and the variety is excellent. The hotel is close to the center, so it's easy to get... vad folk säger » to the beach for sunbathing, shopping or taking the ferry. The local bus stops almost directly in front of the hotel. This will be my hotel of choice - The hotel was nicely located and easy to get to by cab. You were able to get dropped off right in front of the hotel by car. If you come by boat, you would need to take the steep walk up to the hotel, though porters are readily available to take your luggage. The staff was very helpful and even called our next hotel for us to ask a few questions. The room was clean and nicely decorated and we had a partial view of the water.   Besides the absolutely stunning views of the ocean and Positano, the hotel itself was gorgeous, clean, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The one guy who handled the pool area/bar, luggage to you room, etc, was outstanding.   Outstanding view of the sea from the hotel. We liked the beach below the hotel. We also enjoyed the three-course dinner. The value for the money was much better than the restaurant in Positano that we tried. The service at the hotel provided by Felix and his staff was excellent.   Hotel Bougainville was a fabulous ending to a 2 week stay in Italy. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were bright, spacious and clean.   Hotel Poseidon is perfectly placed in the beautiful Positano with beautiful views across the bay. It has a lovely charm. The terrace is a relaxing place for drinks and just to take in the views. Or a quick dip in the pool which although a little small provides the chance to cool off. The main part of the town is a short walk down the hill. The room, a superior, was clean and comfortable. - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. The views are magical. We felt at home at this hotel. There was space for a breakfast table, two chairs, two recliners, and a bench. Being ab - The view from our room (we had one balcony and a terrace) was AMAZING! The location of the hotel was perfect for Positano. We were very glad that we were not staying at any hotel on the upper side of the town since transportation within Positano can be challenging. A bit pricey but definitely worth the money. Perfect for honeymoon couples.
