  Evening dinner at the hotel was delicious. Beautifully presented, and a wide variety of food and well thought out meals. Just lovely. I am sure my mother and I gained 5 kilos, but it was worth it. Staff were very proper and personable. Also helpful. The gardens and lakes were beautiful, which were enhanced by the lovely weather.   Excellent hotel. Booked it from the reviews on line and I can't praise the hotel and staff enough. We paid a little extra for a room overlooking the lake and the view was well worth it. Very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Ferry stop to all the touristy places was right outside the hotel and there are restaurants and bars nearby. Parking is available about a 5 min walk away for a small charge. - Great location, around the corner from the lakefront promenade with its luxury hotels, including the 150 year old Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees, of Hemingway (A Farewell to Arms) fame. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Giuseppe, who greeted us on arrival and daily with a warm smile and two-handed handshake. A short walk to everything, downtown shopping and restaurants and the ferries to the islands in the lake. Generous breakfast buffet with home-baked cakes and pastries.

  Excellent views of Lake Maggiore, very nice to have a balcony overlooking the lake. Spacious accommodation, very clean and well set up if you wish to cook simple meals. Also some very good wine bars in Intra as well as good restaurants and pizza places for dinner.   The hotel has an excellent location and service. The staff are very professional and friendly and they all speak English and very helpful. The view of the lake and the gardens around the hotel is very impressive and beautiful and the facilities of the hotel are very good. The internet access was provided without charge. The rooms were clean and well presented, the staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking space and a nice large pool swimming pool. The floral arrangements in the lounges were superb. No hesitattion in recommending this hotel.

  The reception was very friendly and they were able to offer us a free car park in a garage behind the hotel. The view from our room across the lake was fantastic. The room we had was also much larger than we had anticipated which was a nice surprise. - It was an exallet stay.   The hotel facilities were just perfect: the location, the staff , the outdoor pool facilities, although the menu prices were just a bit expensive. I will definitely recommend this hotel. - A hotel in a superb location that lives up to its title. We had an excellent time.

  The interior architecture was wonderful. The restaurant staff were fantastic., and the breakfast was very good. The pool outside looked very nice and there was a bar where you could get snacks, but we did'nt use the pool as our stay was so short.   We liked the hospitality of this small and well situated hotel in an old Villa. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The place is quiet yet on walking distance of shops and restaurants. Parking on site. Breakfast is good and for €20 you can enjoy a well prepared dinner served outside, weather permitting. We enjoyed our stay.
