  It was very peaceful, enjoyed the views of the lake and was a great place to relax as we wanted to spend a few days without too much driving etc. The hotel has a beautiful location, views from the terrace/pool were amazing. And the centre of the town was but a few steps away, so got to sample some nice friendly resturants etc. - We loved our room... vad folk säger » , on the third floor with a spacious terrace and view over the lake and pool. The staff was welcoming and friendly and really went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The location was terrific - we can't wait to return!

  The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere in the hotel is very warm. The parking is very comfortable. The room is not fancy but clean, large and beautiful with a great view to the lake. There is an Orta Lake beach near the hotel with free entrance to hotel guests. In evening we stayed in hotel and went to hotel restaurant. The meal ... vad folk säger » was great (reasonable prices). The hotel has also vine cellar where we could choose from the various assortment of vines. The breakfast was tasty. - Hotel position overlooking the lake. Excellent food in restaurant. But our holiday was made by the kind attentions of the manager, Otello. Nothing too much trouble and he was the one ray of sunshine in what was disappointing weather for time of year. Whilst we were there, wifi was installed but only available in reception area at the moment. Big bonus.

  The shower..I Stayed alone, but I suggest for couples..amazing bigshower! Gorgeous buffet breakfast - The proximity to the square and the lake was fantastic. I loved the views from our loft room. Apart from the breakfast staff the hotel staff were very nice, friendly and helpful.

  The staff really took care of us. Our first night we slept in the Quadruple (the room for four persons at the top of the house) at Santa Caterina, and it was nice. The breakfast was super and it was the most beautiful we´ve ever been served. Next night we moved to La casa sul Lago by the lake, which also was nice.   The apartment was very large, even by Italy standards. It was reasonably clean and in a wonderful location. The owner cheerfully picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, saving us carfare, because although it was within walking distance, it was on a very narrow and steep road & would have been dangerous to walk. There was also a w... vad folk säger » ashing machine and there was soap provided for it as well as some shampoo. - we really liked Maria who looked after us and all our questions and even helped find a wedding present. The central location of this apartment is perfect The apartment was great and the shower was really good. 2 bathrooms helped a lot The views were very good considering we were one street back from the lake side.
