  Apart from the excellent conditions offered, we appreciated the fact that the hotel owners are involved in preserving the local traditions and the condition of the village (some food is sourced locally, collaboration with local schools etc.).   Of the twelve hotels we stayed in during our short trip, this one gets my vote for the best one overall. Beautiful interior, very friendly service, great food, fair price.   We stayed in hotel krone after riding bicycles from Birmio over Stelvio pass. Hotel was easy to find in beautiful walled town. Comfortable beds and great breakfast. Sad to leave.

  Example of an excellent hospitality. Fantastic room with 2 bathrooms - one of them a part of the main living room a step from the bed. We had a very nice dinner and white wine. Rich breakfast. Large wellness and swimning pool. Excellent service.

  I love everything about this place. It was a gorgeous sight the moment I entered. The room was comfortable and clean, with a beautiful snow-capped landscape scenery from the windows and balcony. Breakfast was a spread for us. The humble host was welcoming and went the extra mile to inform us of the route condition which we were planning to take(ro... vad folk säger » ute was closed due to snow).
