  Laura and Fabio could not have been more helpful. I had to book Il Duomo for my mother who had a bad fall on the Tour prior to coming to Lucca. I needed a place with a lift and a walk in shower and it turned out to be the perfect choice. There was a step down from the shower, but it was spacious and non slip. We were given a choice of rooms and shown each on arrival. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and surprisingly quiet for a city. Linens, towels and toiletries were of good quality. Breakfast was continental buffet with the nice touch of fresh warm croissants and toast brought to table. This is a beautiful and well-run hotel that I would recommend.

  The location, right outside the city walls of Lucca was ideal. The B&B was beautiful, the rooms were immaculate, parking was secure, the backyard was large and a great place to sit with your breakfast or for the kids to run around. Giulia set us up in the family rooms that gave us plenty of space for a family of five. We would definitely stay there again. - The owner Giulia was AMAZING she even baked me gluten free rolls for breakfast as I have a gluten allergy. She was incredibly helpful in recommending a restaurant which was fantastic. She is friendly and runs a very romantic little place which is exceptionally clean. The breakfast was like a 5 star spread. I HIGHLY recommend this B & B . Thanks Giulia you are Fantastic.

  We fully enjoyed our stay at La Boheme; not only because it is in a great central location in Lucca but because the staffs there were so friendly and helpful, even before we arrived. The rooms are not cheap, but nothing in Europe is; however for the price, you are getting a wonderful stay during your time in Lucca. The room was big enough for all our luggage, pram and cot - The location, the decor, the amenities in the bathroom, a proper shower, the 4-poster bed and, most of all, the friendly and very helpful staff.

  Jacamo was brilliant - told us all about the town, booked us in for dinner at an amazing restaurant we never would have found on our own, helped us park the car, and made us feel really at home. His mum made a brilliant breakfast on the romantic tarrace that nearly made my girlfriend cry with happiness (and a bit of sadness as was our last night i... vad folk säger » n Italy). The room was stunning - huge, with high ceilings and 19th Century ceiling frescos, four-poster bed and a smart shower room. 5 minute walk to - The rooms are absolutely beatiful, very spacious. The location is perfect, you can walk to everything there. The restaurant right across the street is quite good and convenient. There is a laundromat very close by as well. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful, giving us advice about where to go and what to do. They also drove us to the airport which was much easier than finding a cab or taking the train. Very lovely place, and a lovely city.
