  Helpful staff;there was a mistake and we were taken to a room with two twin beds while we had asked for a double, and when we informed them at the reception they transferred us to another room immediately. I celebrated my 21st bday in the restaurant and they brought me out a cake free of charge! And the room was perfect - so huge and very comforting.   The hotel is located in Chinatown, near the railway / train station Termini. The hotel occupies the first two floors in an apartment building. The reception and dining room are on the 2nd floor, and we lived on the first floor. There is a lift. Furniture and bathroom in the room is in good condition. We lived in a double room, the room is spacious... vad folk säger » . There is even a hallway to the bathroom. The bathroom has a large window :) Hair Dryer as is. The lighting is good everywhere. The room has a TV, fr - The room was large and very clean. We had a balcony which was great especially after a long day of walking in Rome. The staff was very nice and friendly. It is a family business and they make sure you are taken care of. The breakfast was good, enough to hold you till lunch. Around the corner was 2 very good restaurants. At first the neighborhood looked run down but I felt safer there then many of the tourist areas in Rome. I would definitely recommend this hotel. There was nothing negative abou

  Small boutique hotel with Italian Renaissance decor. Updated bathrooms, though small by American standards, had many unique features not usually seen in hotels in the usa. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes great pride in the attention to the details of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very near top attractions and local cafés. I ... vad folk säger » have stayed there 5 times over the last 5 years, and appreciate the unique and lush appearance of the hotel, but if you are into large spaces and cont - Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!
