Rather than repeat all the advantages of staying here frequently referred to in other reviews, I would like to emphasise the quiet elegance of this hotel.   The two-bedroom suite was great. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The bathroom had an additional room with a 2nd sink, so two adults could easily get cleaned up. The hotel is very convenient to St. Mark's Square just by crossing the Grand Canal via traghetto, and then walking a couple of blocks. The location is terrific--right near the Accademia and its important vaporetto stop, and just across the bridge from the busy and more crowded San Marco area. Very comfortable beds .The breakfast was also very good and on informing the staff I was coeliac before visiting they were happy to accommodate me with wheat free bread free of charge.
