  Good location in quiet small pretty square close to St Marks Sq and gondola's. Clean, bright and nicely decorated / finished. Excellent friendly staff. Our passports were pick-pocketted when boarding passenger ferry to car park on departure - nothing to do with hotel but receptionist was most helpful with advice. Beware ferrys / pick pockets!   The hotel is positioned in a quiet side street and was a tad more expensive than we usually pay for our city breaks but we thought it was good value in relation to the other hotels in the area. But it was well furnished and we had the canal view, which was lovely. But the bed was extra- large and very comfy. The front of house were very helpful with regards to restaurant recommendations - Very central boutique hotel within 5 mins of St Marks......loved the gondolas passing the door of the hotel & some had singers/guitar players ....the singing was brilliant !!! The staff were all friendly & very helpful. The room we had was a junior suite & for 3 women sharing was a bit on the small side but we managed. I would recommend that the hotel get rid of the excercise bike & replace it with a chest of drawers or another wardrobe !!!! Breakfast was really good & plent
