The owner, Ricardo, is the most charming and welcoming host we have met anywhere. The hotel is located in a perfect spot in the historical center. It seems that it used to be an apartment before so it is a bit hard to find but at the same time gives really interesting experience of an "inside". The location was perfect, you can walk to all the major tourist sites/attractions. The hotel was also a near grocery shop, souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants. The Lady Manager was very friendly, efficient and really did a wonderful job to her customers. The cleaning lady was very polite and respectful and did a good job. I will stay again in this hotel

I am totally satisfied with this booking (the hardware, the service,

ever lived during the past 20 days vacation in Italy and Greece.

The strongest points of this hotel are the owners/staff and the
location, and there are quite a few other nice things about it.
Luciana and Luciano, the brother and sister who own/run(?) the place, are lovely, lovely people, kind and most helpful. They're also very quick to respond to emails.
The location is great, if a bit hard to find (if you're relying on GoogleMaps, that is -- get a REAL map!). It's a few meters away from Piazza di Signoria (which is right next to the Galleria Uffizi) and

It's not a 5 star hotel, so I was expecting something a bit dirty
and that was not the case, it was very clean and well taken care of.

The room I stayed in was large and had a nice sized bath attached. The
breakfast was awesome.... Cooked every morning by the owner! There was a
small refrigerator for guests to use as well as a stocked one if you
needed something cold to drink - purchases were on the honor system.
Also I felt quite safe there as it took 3 different keys to enter - one
for the outside door, the inside door to the hotel and then one to enter
the room. Location was great - my room had a window looking over the
