One can have personalized contact and advice prior to the trip and this proved to be - We stayed in Casa Ilaria for two nights last June. Allthough Bologna can be quite tricky by car, we were lucky to find it without delay. The location is superb, in an elegant building in a lively area in the centre, a lot of students (which we liked). Everything is within walking distance, and the streets around are very nice to wander around in. A lot of nice restaurants, cafe's and musea close.   We arrived at the hotel apartment around 6.30pm, an hour or so later than expected. I called the number of the hotel and a lady came to open up for us. She was very helpful and very pleasant and really couldn't do enough. It is very homely, the apartments were extremely spacious. She showed us 2 apartmen - Wonderful place with fantastic ambiance. Location is fantastic - 5 minutes on foot from 2 towers, lot of restaurants around. Our number was well-designed, with beautiful antique bureau and table and had (apart from the main window) - a little round nice window that made the ambiance in our room really magical! 2 beds were comfortable. The breakfast was also good - you can have it on the big veranda or in the breakfast room with a lot of antique wonderful furniture. The staff was helpful and aff
