  The Owner is an interesting lady who keeps the place in a perfect way. Room are spacious with a large bathroom. The guest house is on the 3th floor of a old nice building. It is really nice and you will have the feeling to be in house more than a Hotel. It is safe and well located. In front of Hotel you will find Salsameria, go there for Breakfast... vad folk säger » and Lunch, amazing food and cheap price. - location (2 min to metro or 10 min walk to the very centre, but the area itself is nice as well - for shops, cafes etc) service

Before staying at La Papessa we read reviews on the lift that is small and erratic in its operation. Now we know that the lift is an antique but very functionable,it was quite an experience and a showpiece.   Friendly staff and Fantastic location, Vatican City was only a few blocks away. Rooms were very clean, decorated tastefully with a mixture of modern and antique furniture. The bed and pillow was super comfortable. Breakfast although continental was lovely with a selection of pastries, cereal and fresh fruit. Fresh coffee was also provided.
