Metro VERY close to use for Vatican,Colosseum,etc. Had family room for 4 - seperate bed and a couch for 10 and 13 year-old kids, heavy curtain between kids' beds and adult bed, 2 balcony doors to view of St. Peter's, quiet and blinds/curtains for darkening.   This has a light breakfast included, decent size rooms but that's pretty much it regarding facilities. Stefano, was amazingly helpful and spoke excellent English. He offered a wonderful suggestion for a reasonable traditional Italian restaurant. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful (including the cleaners, breakfast staff and the front desk, which provided really good dinner recommendations 3 nights in a row). Our room for 4 was in a loft-style room so I loved the extra space!

  The best hotel in Rome, near the downtown, near the hard rock and paces to go out, near everything.
