  The hotel was very easy to find and a few minutes from bus and trainstation. The whole atmosphere in the hotel was beautiful, courtyard litwith candles at night was so welcoming.   although the guesthouse's entrance is located in a funny little alleyway, and you have to carry your bags up 2 flights of stairs yourself (no lift), our room was big and comfortable. We liked the location. Room was clean and air conditioned. Room was not fancy but was fine and the hotel was a good value. Staff did not speak English but were still nice.

  Nära till tågstationen - Vi bokade superiorrum till sänkt pris och det var verkligen fint. rymligt och svalt + frächt badrum. Väldigt nära centralstationen. Vi hade rum mot bakgarden och hörde inga störande ljud. (kyrkklockorna kl 7 var bara trevliga.)

  Great B&B. Very clean and quiet. It's a 10 minutes walking from the train station, with the suitcases. There are 2 bridges in between, the big one right out the train station and a little one after so you may suffer a little with your luggage, but thats normal in Venice.   We really enjoyed our long weekend at de l'Alboro. Great location as we were close to the vaporetti stops, not far from San Marco and not at all noisy. The people are extremely nice and helpful, recommended the best (quality/budget) restaurants we went to, strongly recommend this place that helps you immerse into a true Venice experience. The staff were extremely polite and helpful with instructions on how to get around the city, and looked after our baggage when we went for a walk about the city after we had checked out.   The location is brilliant. Very near to everything, but in an area where we felt we weren't being ripped-off....just a few steps away from more residential areas and the "real" Venice. A 10 minute stroll through gorgeous little streets and you're at the Rialto Bridge, or get the ferry gondola 2 steps away from the hotel and cross to the market. We were in the Pesaro Suite - which was utterly sensational! Massive room, balcony overlooking canal, enormous very comfortable bed, large bathroom with spa bath and breakfast included! Was by far our favourite hotel of our European holiday! Definitely recommend and would go back in an instant! Very easy to get to - if you arrive in Vencie via Train, catch the #1 Water Taxi, and get off about 4 stops down at D'Caro - if you fly in, the taxi will take you to the waterway, catch the #1
