  The reason I chose this hotel was the fabulous location - when in Rome,I spend most of my time at the ancient monuments, and this place is right at the bottom of the via Cavour, literally a minute or two from the Roman and Imperial Fora. I had a deluxe room and it was lovely - faciltities were good, nice shower, tv, safe, fridge - all you would ne... vad folk säger » ed. Everything was clean and though the style of decor would, for some, probably be a little out of date, I thought it was quite charming. Note though - Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.

  Hotel Clarisse is lovely. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. However it's the staff that make it a great hotel. They go out of their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you feel welcome. Sergio in particular was wonderful to us. He told us about an amazing local restaurant, found last minute tour to the Vatican, and... vad folk säger » even accompanied me to a shoe repair to help translate. I would stay here again simply for the service. - The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.

To our extremely pleasant surprise we were upgraded to an appartment on the top floor with a rooftop patio overlooking Rome. It was all absolutely fabulous. No complaints at all and would definitely recommend.

  They were very accomadating when we were delayed in London for two days (cancelled flight) and needed to move our reservation by that number of days. Bookings.com helped us with this (not sure it would have turned out the same if they hadn't). As others have said, the hotel was in a great location. Our room was no frills, but all we did - The size of our room was good with very high ceilings adding to the feeling of a very spacious room. Free wifi worked efficiently in the room. Staff were very helpful. Location is excellent. Within 5 minutes walk of Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, and just a little bit further for Trastevere. A good value hotel for the location.

  centralt läge - Hotelli oli iloinen yllätys :) Sijainti hyvä, kävely matkan päässä lähes kaikista nähtävyyksistä, kertaakaan ei tarvinnut julkista liikennettä käyttää. 30 asteen helteen jälkeen oli ihana tulla ilmastoituun huoneeseen. Aamiainen oli todennäköisesti kattavampi kuin yleiseensä vastaavissa hotelleissa. (Sämpylät, leikkeleet, jugurtit... vad folk säger » ). Huone oli erittäin siisti ja henkilökunta ystävällistä. Mille grazie Grifo!!! - The Grifo was very central in a brilliant neighbourhood full of nice restaurants, boutiques and shops and an easy stroll to both the Palazzo delle Esposizioni and the Colluseum
