The location was great opposite the railway station, however you heard
no noise from the trains. The receptionist who booked us in was very
friendly and accommodating and we were allowed to check in and our room
was ready at 1100 hours in the morning. The room was basic, little dated
but perfectly clean and the bathroom was fine. Towels/soap were

What I liked most is that hotel was very very near to Pisa Centrali station. We didn't spend any time in locating it. Also, bus connectivity to Pisa was very good and we reach the tower in just 10 minutes.
Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.

It was my first time to visit Italy. My girlfriend and were looking to have a romantic getaway. We were surprised by the size of the rooms, they are much bigger than the pictures. We recommend this hotel thanks to the great service the personnel brings. Ciao tutti! -

Owner Chiara was fantastic, always amenable and helpful, bright smile, friendly, and always found the time for you. Hotel staff were unobtrusive and kept the rooms spotless. Little things like changing the towels twice and the bed once for a three night stay are things not found in some 3 & 4 star hotels. Full marks for the Moderno, a 2 star hotel, with a 4 star service and a 5 star owner. -
Strategic position: walking distance from station and airport; the staff was helpful; room was clean, had AC, TV and free wi-fi. I had to stay there for one night, and take a flight the day after and I paid a small price for a room with a shared bathroom, but ended up using the bathroom by myself, as they put me in a floor where everyone else had their own en-suite. Staff is there 24-hour a day.

This hotel was excellent for the price and only a stones throw away from the touristy bit with the tower, cathedral etc. literally 200 yards away. The room was clean quiet and comfortable even though it was so close to the busiest part of Pisa. The parking is quite difficult as the area is mainly pedestrianised and would have been expensive apart

Location was very close to Tower etc. and very accessible, although you cannot walk from airport or train station as one might assume by distance posted.
A no-frills kind of place but for price served us very well for first and last night of our trip.
Staff was TERRIFIC!!! We encountered many different staff throughout our visit and they were all very personable, most helpful and very accommodating.

The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. They
all spoke my language, English, and were not at all offended by my
complete lack of familiarity with theirs. They were quick to assist me
with travel arrangements and with maps and directions to the Leaning
Tower, which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel's front door.

Pretty much everything was great. The staff were very helpful and
kind. I was a single adult with 5 children ages 2 - 14. The proximity
to the Leaning Tower and other things in Pisa was perfect. My 2 year
old was able to walk the distance easily. The room was more than
adequate for our needs. We stayed 2 nights, and drove in to Rome and
then back. Tiring, but I looked forward to getting back to our room.
Would go back again!
