  I really really enjoyed our stay there. The receptionists were really friendly and gave great advice, the environment we were in - the pretty gardens and the lovely hotel room were really welcoming and comfortable, the price for our stay was reasonable and the hotel was incredibly central.   The hotel was conveniently located between the Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican (a 10 minute walk to both) and from the Piazza you can continue through to the shopping areas and Spanish steps. Our room was a good size for two people--just enough space--and the bathroom was very modern and clean (something that can be a rarity in other Italian hotels).   We got an upgrade to an excellent room. The staff were extremely nice and helped us with our Italian. Barbara was especially nice and made our reservation at the Borgese gallery. Everything was excellent and the staff could not have been better. - very nice, good location, excellent breakfast although they should reduce the charge for children
