Right after the booking I got an e-mail from the staff, which welcomed my booking and gave basic info about the B&B.
The B&B was easy to find, almost next to the Duomo. The B&B was on the second floor, with about 40 steps of stairs. The room with the external bathroom was basic with queen bed, TV, little table, minibar, chair, cupboard

Mandy and her staff were so very helpful. The beds were very comfortable
(and large) for Europe - Actually the most comfortable we've slept
in since beginning our European travels nearly a year ago. The location
is excellent - a short walk from the train station and right next to the
Duomo. It is an easy walk to most of the sites, and in the heart of the
beautiful city. Even so, when the windows were closed, we could not hear

We were impressed by maps and useful information of the city given after checking in at the hotel by a hotel staff.
The hotel is few steps of walk to Duomo.
To our knowledge, there aren't many public toilets available in Florence. So, we found it very convenient to go back and forth between the hotel and tourist attractions during the day in case

We were presently surprised to discover that there is a little kirchen in our room so we were able to prepare our favorite hot instant comfort food! We can be adventurous with our food but having the freedom to be just lazy and not go out to eat is also welcome to weary teavellers :-) Our room was charming! It's proximity to the Duomo gave us an excellent central point from which to do all our touring on foot. Breakfast selection was varied and good.
