  Small boutique hotel with Italian Renaissance decor. Updated bathrooms, though small by American standards, had many unique features not usually seen in hotels in the usa. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes great pride in the attention to the details of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very near top attractions and local cafés. I ... vad folk säger » have stayed there 5 times over the last 5 years, and appreciate the unique and lush appearance of the hotel, but if you are into large spaces and cont - Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

  The location was perfect - a short walk to almost everything! Even the things that were "far" were only a 20 minute walk. (Spanish Steps/Trevi Fountain) Alina at the front desk was awesome and so helpful!! The rooms were nice & clean. The bathrooms were nice as well. Free breakfast/cappuccino & WiFi is always a plus for us whe - Everything about the Hotel 47 experience was excellent, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The location for a visit to Rome was perfect for those whe enjoy walking around a city. It was close to many of the major monuments, resteraunts, and public transport. The accomodation was excellent with wonderful views over some of Rome's ancient temples. The breakfast was very good and staff helpful.

  I had a very pleasant stay at Caligola resort and hereby recommend it to everyone! The location is just great, nearby to Trastevere. Room was perfect, with a good bed and bathroom, big TV and nice balcony. Everything was cleaned daily. Roberto, the owner and his daughter and son are very friendly and helpful.   Our first taste of Europe 14th June 2013 before our tour started 17June was staying at this Hotel , what a wonderful start to our holiday the staff amazing hotel beautiful location fabulous .   We stayed in this hotel with my wife for three nights. It's somewhat further from the center and good 15-minute walk from the metro but we enjoy walking and didn't find this annoying. The hotel deserves its three stars, we loved being there. Rooms are ok size, spacious bathrooms. Clean, tidy and no drainage problems as there were in other hotels.... vad folk säger » Breakfasts are really good and the personnel is helpful. In the area nearby we found the places to eat out without problems and for quite affordable - I 've known the hotel for the last 10 years. This is an old classical furnished hotel but well maintain. Breakfast improved in quality and variety but the fruit juice. The internet access too. I like the garden with free parking access. Good location with a car as few minutes away from the center and easy to exit from the Tuscolana (Naples, Ciampino) or Marco Polo (eur, Pomezia, Fiumicino). Price can be very competive and attractive
