though small by American standards, had many unique features not usually
seen in hotels in the usa. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes

Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra
care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past
we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio
were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano
was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the
Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and
this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

I had a very pleasant stay at Caligola resort and hereby recommend it to everyone! The location is just great, nearby to Trastevere. this is a very good hotel with a great location and friendly staff...alessandro, veronika, and emanuele at the bar - great cocktail! expect quirks because this is a new hotel and some work still needs to be done; on my first day, there were guys carry fixtures in and out, dudes working on elevator.
the bed was very comfortable and pillows very cozy.

Dei Borgia is a new hotel in an existing building. Lovely marble throughout. More of a boutique hotel at very reasonable rates.

The staff were very helpful, polite and courteous. They had a lot of local knowledge which was very helpful. The breakfast provided had the most variety I have ever seen served at a hotel. And they were all very tasty and of a high standard.
We had young children with us so the vending machines, hot water and play area was very convenient and useful. Their 24 hr lounge area was really clean and provided a large space for the kids to run around, for our large group to sit and relax and stay out
