We had a great time at Residenza Gambrinus. Since there was the cycling
world championships during our stay, many streets in the city center
were blocked. The owner of the hotel met us outside the city center and
guided us directly to a central garage where we could leave our car

A perfect location to see Florence as it was in the centre for shopping and sightseeing. Extremely clean with modern fittings and nothing was too much trouble for the host . It was a bit tricky finding the location and bags have to be taken up I flight of stairs in order to reach the lift . The concierge is only there for limited hours.. But none of this worried us as the location and standard of facilities was well worth it .

This B&B is really central, but quiet. It is less than a five minute
walk to the Duomo in one direction and Ponte Vecchio in another. All
major places of interest are within very easy walking distance, as is
the station. Allesandro and Cesare were very helpful and friendly, they
were also happy to book restaurants for us. When we checked in we were
given a map and suggestions of restaurants. The room was very clean and

We booked two bedroom's suite on top floor with living room and kitchen, and bathroom with separate shower. The room was beautifully designed and very well equipped and comfortable. The location could not have been better. There was one receptionist who was very helpful (I think he was called Giuseppe). And the breakfast was outstanding (We'd stayed at a few different places in Italy on the trip but this was by far the best breakfast). -
