  We loved this hotel. It was excellent value for money. The room was spacious, the bathroom was big and clean and we had a balcony with a great view. The centre is a 20 minute walk away, but the walk down the river (past a number of good cafe's etc) is worth the effort. But as far as I understood 2-star hotels in Florence are not that far from 4-star hotels in other cities. Besides the price was very moderate in comparison with hotels in other famous cities.   The room was fantastic, Clean, comfortable and very large. The bathroom was also very nice, well furnished with an excellent shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On arrival they provided us with a map and directions to the center of the city. The Breakfast which consisted of cakes, fruit, yogurt etc.. was excellent.
