Hostel was quite far from Firenze SMN (central station), but reachable by bus in 10 minutes or taxi (10 EUR).
Rooms clean. Common showers, but plenty of, clean and everything worked well.
Breakfast and dinner were cheap but decent, especially dinner (many delicious dishes with a glass of wine for only 9 EUR, unbeatable offer).
Groceries and ticket office right in front of the hostel.
International community, stuff spoke good english.
Maps and guides for free on reception.

We loved this hotel. It was excellent value for money. The room was spacious, the bathroom was big and clean and we had a balcony with a great view. The centre is a 20 minute walk away, but the walk down the river (past a number of good cafe's etc) is worth the effort. Still close to city center if you like to walk. Very friendly stuff, found good solutions for us parking. Room at the top floor had a beautiful view and the terrace at the evening was great. There is a pizza place very close, just over the bridge - very local place. -

My stay at Hotel Masaccio was very nice experience. The staff was friendly and it was a quite atmosphere. It is Budget-friendly. There is a food store that is 5 minutes away from the hotel. And there is also a Wash-and-Dry if you need to wash or dry your clothes.

The staff was very nice and very help full. They seemed interested in us having a good time in florence will staying in there hotel. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, the tv worked. The bathroom was very nice, clean, well stocked with towels and toiletires. The upstairs bar was very nice. We enjoyed ending out day up at the roof top bar.

It is so quiet at night and cooler than Florence. Dinner on the terrazza overlooking Florence. The antique everything. What better than a stay in a Medici Villa for a visit to Florence! You can buy bus tickets right there and hike up to the road to catch a bus. Nice 20 min walk to Fiesole, or you can take the bus. Coffee on the Terrazza next to the Aurora Hotel in Fiesole is great too. There is no A/C but the large ceiling fan was sufficient. No TV, but who has time to watch tv with all the stu
