  I had a wonderful stay in Rocche Costamagna with my wife in Nov 2013. Got the famous Room No. 4 with 3 balconies (one is in the toilet!) and able to capture the stunning view over the Barolo valley. Room is beautifully and modernly decorated. The hotel is located in the center of La Morra with some good restaurants nearby. The host is nice. Re... vad folk säger » commended to everyone who are going to visit the place. - Staff is very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable about area, wine and winemaking, fluent in English. Suites are lovely with artwork by owner. Winetasting with Francesca was informative and fun. Absolutely beautiful region, great views of mountains and valley.   Roberto, Jayne & Davide made us feel extremely welcome. Palas Cerequio is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We had been travelling for 6 weeks when we arrived here and we found the whole atmosphere of Palas Cerequio very relaxing, we left feeling very refreshed. The meals and service are fantastic. We arrived in the evening - Silvana prepared pasta, polenta and other Piedmontese treats - cheese and ham, homemade jams and wine from the family vineyard.
