  We stayed in hotel krone after riding bicycles from Birmio over Stelvio pass. Hotel was easy to find in beautiful walled town. Comfortable beds and great breakfast. Sad to leave.

  Really lovely hotel with helpful staff and comfortable bedroom - would have liked to have spent more time there. Dinner was excellent - set menu.

  Apart from the excellent conditions offered, we appreciated the fact that the hotel owners are involved in preserving the local traditions and the condition of the village (some food is sourced locally, collaboration with local schools etc.).   The location was beautiful in a quiet secluded picturesque village. The restaurant was great. The room was large and had a sitting area and there were facilities to cook and make tea or coffee. A wedding had occurred in the village on the day we arrived and we were woken up in the early hours of the morning to cannon fire and a brass band playi... vad folk säger » ng traditional music. The cannon fire continued for about an hour!!! Apparently this is typical for this village when someone gets married. How luck - extremely friendly staff, very nice rooms and superb food, all very good value for money!

  Of the twelve hotels we stayed in during our short trip, this one gets my vote for the best one overall. Beautiful interior, very friendly service, great food, fair price.
