  Good car park once you've squeezed your car through the gates! Some way outside the centre of Genoa, it was a short walk to the bus stop (No 14) which takes you into the centre of Genoa.   This place was great. The lady who checked us in was lovely and gave us a great map for the things we needed to see as we were only there for one night. From the hotel it's a really easy walk to the old part of town, some great sights and the waterfront. Hotel is in the center of Genoa, next to all you need - old town, antic port, Duomo of Genoa, shops, restaurants, train station, supermarket and Italian market with fruits, cheeses, spicies etc, restaraunts. Acceptable for car travellers - parking is located 3 minutes walk from the hotel.   The staff was very friendly. The breakfast had good Italian pastries and wonderful espresso, capucinno or cafe Americano...they make it personally for you from a beautiful espresso machine. The rooms were extra clean and the hotel is in a great location near shops and 5 mins from train station Brignole.   Seloua & Matthew are excellent hosts in a beautiful villa in a cozy suburb of Genoa, Italy called Nervi. Our hosts were attentive to every and any need before we even thought of it. We felt like we were visiting our favorite relatives (without any obligations). Matthew cooked us a delicious authentic italian meal for our last night in the area... vad folk säger » .   We arrive in Genoa to find out there would be a train strike on the day we were to leave. We had booked 2 nights at the hotel. We explained to the lovely young lady about our predicament and that we wanted to only stay one night as we did not want to get caught up in the train strike. She rang bookings.com to find out for us if stayed one night... vad folk säger » that we would be charged for one night and not two nights. She came back to us to advise that this could be the case. She went out of her way to as - We were only in Genoa very briefly but really enjoyed our stay - your hotel is very comfortable and conveniently located.
