  There are many 5 stars hotels in Florence. Il Salviatino is definitly the most special of them all. It's comfort, beauty, luxury, perfect location, and hospitality goes beyond any other experience. The hotel staff were simply magnificent and were always looking to help us with, for example, directions for days out of Florence, booking train tickets to Rome and restaurant reservations. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the serving of drinks and aperitivo in the library was a nice touch..

Ultra-modern design, clean and light room with free internet, orthopedic chair, tea and cofee making facilities, 'smart' bed, lots of amenities in bathroom etc. Excellence for as little as 70 Euro per night.   The place was more than what we have expected. Nice and cosy flat with all necessary facilities, great outdoors, view is gorgeous. There is an outdoor pool, a small gym, ping-pong and big tennis facilities, although we weren't able to use those as the weather hasn't been that great during our stay.   We loved this hotel. It was excellent value for money. The room was spacious, the bathroom was big and clean and we had a balcony with a great view. The centre is a 20 minute walk away, but the walk down the river (past a number of good cafe's etc) is worth the effort.
