  The owner Sara Corsi was cheerful, enthusiastic and very helpful. Fiesole was a wonderful, friendly, small village with a rich history, great hikes in the hills and an easy bus ride into Florence.   A Brilliant location for seeing both Florence and the Tuscan countryside but a car is needed. Marianna and Gennaro were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were beautifully presented with hot and cold choices. The bedroom was spotless with a lot of attention to detail. The meal that Marianna and Gennaro cooked for us and our two friends one evening as an exception - Magic atmosphere created by place itself and great owner's couple! Tasty air by mornings on the terrase, milky smile in the cappuco cup on the breakfast, olive hills going down directly to Florence...And home feeling comfort by evenings when tired from day of exploring Tuscany. You can look down on the dome of Florence Cathedral in the distance while eating breakfast.   We agree with other guests: the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a god idea to stay outside Florence - it was less hot and the view over the city was stunning. The rooms were big and beautifully decorated. Beds were good and the bathrooms extremely clean and nice. Bustransportation into Florence was easy and cheap and the buses left fre... vad folk säger » quently. The best thing with Fiesole was the view over Florence and the fresh air. Also the restaurant Terrazze 45 was superb with it's terrasse. - All excellent. The owners are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The location is fantastic right in the centre of town. Fiesole is a lovely town and only 20 min bus ride into Florence. If we ever visit this region again we would definitely stay at Casa Sofia.
