  First of all, Sicily is one of coolest places we've ever been. Custonaci is a small, cozy, beautiful, calm city with very relaxing and heartful lifestyle and with smiling friendly enhabitants. Surrounding area is very very beautiful, mountains, parks with wild nature and the sea. The hotel (well the word is not very suitable as it's too official f... vad folk säger » or that nice place, i'd better use word the Residence) is located 50 meters from the main street and maybe 300 meters from the church and city center. - Giuseppe (the owner) was an amazing host, friendly and willing to help you with everything. the apartments were very well equipped with all the necessary!! The staff was friendly and the location was perfect to see all the West Sicily area and Egadi's Islands (by car!) The people from this little village, Custonaci, were so lovely and friendly! I would recommend it! Well done Giuseppe!! In bocca al lupo per tutto!!!

  The hotel was great but the beds could be a little softer and the room smelled a bit like bathroom. we stayed in a standard size bedroom. The breakfast was great and the appearance of the hotel couldn't be better. it was far from things but not that bad. with a car, it's a good distance. - the friendliness of the staff

  The family run operation at Il Cortile is extremely welcoming. The food, which includes wild vegetables and herbs, is absolutely incredible. Wild asparagus in antipasto or with pasta - amazing. And many more treats with finoccio, etc. this restaurant was written up in 2000 in the Washington Post and it has only gotten better. It is a 20 minute walk, or very short drive to the beach - Staff was friendly. Spacious room and clean. Nice courtyard and quiet.
