  Staff warmth and friendliness. We arrived ragged after much travelling and wheeling bags to the hotel, to find a warm welcome at reception and an immediate offer to make us two fine cups of coffee, which we accepted with alacrity. The warmth was maintained throughout our stay and on departure we were given a cake size biscotti. It was the accomm... vad folk säger » odation highlight of our trip and they are to be commended. The hotel is also the only one situated right on the main historic piazza Sordello, just - The location - we booked a higher priced room to get a view of the splendid piazza outside. The room was simple but comfortable. Breakfast buffet extensive and good quality, excellent coffee from the adjacent bar. Very friendly staff. But note they are closing for three months over the wintter and upgrading the whole hotel, so it may become 'luxury' rather than good quality three star, with higher prices to match

  rooms were fantastic. Newly renovated, LA-modern style in a 15th century building. All white and immaculately clean with large, state-of-the-art bathrooms. David upgraded us to a suite, which had a large living room. Perfect location in the square, yet very quiet w new windows. Outstanding value. Balcony overlooking a main square. No detail overlooked, and wonderful staff. The sister restaurant and bakery are well worth a visit - the food is as good as the rooms!
