  We spent there only one night, but the hotel with its beautiful gardenwas just great, even in February. Friendly staff, spacious room,comfortable bed etc... The town of Castellammare di Stabia is not verynice, so you have to drive to Amalfi coast to get decent views. Anyway,Grand Hotel La Medusa was perfect for us, an island. - The staff was very h... vad folk säger » elpful in giving us tips about restaurants and places to go. Parking possible at the hotel. Yummy breakfast with fresh pastries and fresh juice. We visited in winter, but I can imagine in summer their beautiful garden with pool is like a little paradise :)

  The front esk reception area personnel were outstanding and gave great service. I want to particularly site lia as most helpfull. Alphonse, Roberto, and Leonardo were very accommodating. Air Conditioning and Internet that work as promised (Rare in europe!!)Adequate breakfast includes,mediocre (for europe) coffee but abundant for those who need caffeine. There is also a pool where I spent some relaxed days! If you dont have a car and come by train, I would advice to take a Taxi! The Hotel is up on a hill and per pedes its very exhausting to get there! The town itself is a good place to stay, if you like to be amoung italians! The most tourists are in Sorrento....
