The hotel is simply amazing. The room I was staying in was absolutely fabulous, but the best thing was the kindness of Alessia, the receptionist: I can't really imagine a better treatment, she was helpful and very nice to me and my friend and really made us feel like at home. Very friendly, knowledgable and helpful staff. Good room with fantastic view over the lake. Excellent, reasonably-priced restaurant and comprehensive breakfast. Very well located away from the tourist-orientated parts of Lake Urbano and Castelgondolfo. -

We booked a budget room but were upgraded, for a small negotiable additional charge, to a better room which had wonderful views over Lago Albino and facilities outside in which to relax and enjoy the view.

The breakfast while traditional was superb. The pastries were absolutely
wonderful and were accompanied by your choice of beverages, yogurt,
bread and homemade jam, and a hardboiled egg.
The dog, Lu-La, while a Giant Canne Corso, is a cream puff who loves to be petted and will follow you all around the property but not into any of the facilities.
