  Recently stayed in the Albergo Eden for four nights while attending a friends wedding in the Dino hotel. The location was excellent, right in the middle of the town with a lovely view. The owner got up every night to let me in at all hours in the morning. The hotel rooms are what you pay for cheap and cheerful!   We were very pleased with our choice of Baveno for our visit to Lake Maggiore. The Residence Carl and Do was great. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a very comfortable apartment at the back of the building with a view of both lake and mountain. The supermarket is a hundred yards away and was much larger than we imagined from previous reviews. They have a good selection of fresh - The apartment was big and very comfortable, we stayed at the apartment with a clear lake view, we were 2 with a kid and the rooms were spacious. You have plenty of restaurants, super market, bus stop and train station nearby. Kitchen is fully loaded and all rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. I really liked the big balcony with lake view where you can relax for long hours..Highly recommended !!
