  We really liked the size of the room and the availability of free, secure parking. That was a big factor in our decision. The rooms were sound proof which allowed our children to really enjoy themselves and play loudly. We especially enjoyed the breakfast that was included in the price of hotel and was child friendly.   Location is terrific; on one of the main streets and right next door to the beautiful opera house. A 5 minute walk to the waterfront promenade; 10-15 min. to the edge of the old town.   Great location across the road from train and bus station. 5Min bus ride to port for ferry bus number is 20/ (there is a 20 and 20/ bus make sure on right one) only cost one euro there and back one way lasts the day - Hotel was perfectly adequate for our purposes.   We stayed 4 nights in a room at the 6th floor, which in fact is a three-room apartment with a large bathroom and a very large balcony. We had asked for a quiet room, and indeed it was very quiet despite of the fact that the hotel is situated in the center of Bari, close to the railway station (5 minutes by foot). The breakfast was good with - We would happily return to this hotel because of the genuine helpfulness of staff and particularly the evident concern of reception staff for the wellbeing of guests. All of them spoke English and we were given quite exceptional help from the young man on duty on our first morning. We were in the hotel for three days and while not luxurious our room was spacious comfortable and clean with ample wardrobe space and we enjoyed our balcony over the street .The shower was bigger than average.   We (my wife and I) were most impressed by the service of the staff. We found they were very welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent for viewing the sites in the historical centre of Bari and the seaside.   The 2 older ladies that run the place, are very-very nice. They offered me iced coffee, on a very-very hot day, and also some fresh local fruit in the afternoon. The girl(Anna), who works as an assistant, is a hardworking, lovely young woman. She waited on me at the breakfast meal. These 3 women made my stay a real genuine pleasure. The owner was very very nice, he gave us directions for the Policlinico Hospital where we were headed, and also recommended a nearby restaurant for the night, where we ate delicious, fresh fish.
