The hotel/castle is located in a beautiful vineyard. We were provided with a tour of the vineyard and winery with wine tasting which provided an interesting history of the property. The rooms were beautifully decorated. The staff, the food, the scenery was excellent.This was our favorite hotel during our month long stay in Europe. -

We really enjoyed our stay at the Schloss, which is run by charming and helpful family owners. A car with GPS would likely assist to get there and look to enter not via the front entrance, but through the driveway a short distance beyond, where there is good car parking. The innkeeper was extremely helpful for recommendations for attractions and restaurants. The hotel is absolutely lovely! Don't miss an opportunity to treat yourself to this property. The rooms are large and comfortable. Our room had a sitting area and an efficiency. We ate breakfast on the lawn beneath a fig tree! It does not get much better than that!
