  Margot (front of house) was amazing and came to collect us when we got a little lost trying to make our way to the hotel. She was very thorough in the check-in process and also put us in touch with a decent taxi driver to collect us late at night from nearby Praino. Margot arranged for a porter to grab my bags at the meeting point and for a valet to park my car for me and even asked car details and arrival time to minimise wait. Upon arriving I was impressed at how close good food was and how accessible the beach was from the hotel. My room was neat and incredibly clean and the view was to die for! We have greatly appreciated our stay at Il Porticciolo and this is most certainly thanks to the owner, Carmela, who is a fantastic host.
