  Location close to Airport 10-15 mins @ €25.for taxi, bus available? Hotel located across the road from the Beach. Bus runs to old town €1. Hope you have better luck to get the times right every 40 mins? Best meal was had in the Hotel at the best price! Choice may not suit everybody. Taxi to Old Town €7-8. The big plus ,staff in all areas were all very polite and helpful. - The staff were very friendly, and helpful especially the ladies at the reception and the bar tender Pedros. The sea view on the balcony was most relaxing, as was the swimming pool. Although the machines in the gym are not modern, i found it most fulfilling to have a workout there. The breakfast was superbly presented buffet style! Keep it up!

  I didn't expect to much after I read the hotel reviews, but it was actually beyond my expectations. The studio was very big and had everything we needed. The room was clean and the hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. Also the location is very good, as it is not in the city but actually close to the beach. Go north by foot about 20 minutes... vad folk säger » on the sea side until you reach a pine forest. Pass trough it and you will reach a wonderful beach, a lot better than Bombardia, Lazaretto or the cit - For two persons, studio was quite spacious. Supermarket is right accross the street from the hotel. Staff is very welcoming and helpful with information. Two beautiful beaches (Lazzaretto + Bombardo), Cappo Caccia cave & airport easily reachable by bus/car. Bus station is very near the hotel. Beautiful old town is a nice 20-minute beach stroll away. Free parking spots were in abundance around the hotel, though keep in mind this was October. Alghero is a great starting point to explore North

  Ett toppenmysigt hotell med utmärkt läge. Vi bodde där med tre barn (7 år, 4år 1år) och fick ett stort bra rum. - Perfekt läge, nära till allt. Balkong med havsutsikt/stadsutsikt. Stort härligt badkar. Kylskåp. Stor skön säng.

  Det är andra gången jag och min väninna besöker Alghero och hotell La Playa, och det var precis lika mysigt som tidigare. Vi hade halvpension och maten är väldigt bra, läget är perfekt och personalen är vänlig och hjälpsam. Det är ett enklare hotell, men känslan är som att komma hem till en familj.   ägarna är fantastiskt trevliga och ger kanontips på restauranger, utflyktsmål m.m. Poolen är skinande ren och perfekt för barnen. As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful. To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. I have been to Italy alone around 15 times. And in all that time worldwide, I cannot think of better, kinder hosts. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.
