  We stayed here only for one night in February and really this is the nicest place you can find in the area. (I can imagine during the summer time). Very close distance from Assisi and other amazing small towns in the area. It’s very easy to find and the food here is worth the stay. Breakfast was typ - We loved the trio of women and their respective roles in the operation. The senior member is the mother, the chef exemplaire..Monica the souschef and handles the business end of the operation. Paolabeing the English speaker seems to do everything else. She is reception,importer of routes to take,coffee maker,waitress at dinner and apparently cleans the rooms. She is the hub..   Very peaceful and lovely environment, embedded in smoothly hilly countryside with view to Perugia and the Valle D'Umbria. Accommodation and the surrounding remain in very good condition - appartement, pool, garden. The owner looks after it very carefully.   We stayed at the Casa Campiglione for four nights in May to visit Assisi and other hill towns in the area. Our room and bathroom were spacious, immaculate and comfortable. We had booked a superior room and it had a small balcony with a vew of Assisi. The family and staff were very helpful and friendly. For people with a car, it is a fine location and getting to Assisi was easy with a short drive on the same - Very nice family run hotel. Lots of rooms. Ours had a balcony and was very quiet. Breakfast was typical European fair. The location is the best for visiting Assisi which is literally just down the road. We found it very homey and relaxing. It is good value for the money and we would stay there again.
