  it was great staying in an old fortress the rooms and dining room was so interesting I would have loved some information on the history of it in English - soul of a hotel placed in an beautiful old building..with wery kind staff...warm etno furniture.. we felt good..

  We stayed here only for one night in February and really this is the nicest place you can find in the area. (I can imagine during the summer time). Very close distance from Assisi and other amazing small towns in the area. It’s very easy to find and the food here is worth the stay. Breakfast was typ - We loved the trio of women and their respective roles in the operation. The senior member is the mother, the chef exemplaire..Monica the souschef and handles the business end of the operation. Paolabeing the English speaker seems to do everything else. She is reception,importer of routes to take,coffee maker,waitress at dinner and apparently cleans the rooms. She is the hub..   We recommend this place. The clean and bright rooms. Nice owners. They really care about their hotel. Breakfast is really rich. Most things are homemade. Big variety of homemade pies. Moka coffee. If you have a car, it is good place for visiting Umbria. No problems with parking.   Very nice place in quiet countryside, but pretty close to larger city. Really nice owner/staff. Great view from the pool towards Assisi. - Well appointed and peaceful considering the close proximity to major roads taking you to Assisi and Perugia. Lovely peaceful place.

  Very peaceful and lovely environment, embedded in smoothly hilly countryside with view to Perugia and the Valle D'Umbria. Accommodation and the surrounding remain in very good condition - appartement, pool, garden. The owner looks after it very carefully.
