  This was a great choice for my family of four (two adult daughters). The hotel is within walking distance of the train station. This hotel has 8 rooms at reasonable prices. It recently opened in Sept, 2011 The hotel was our first stop after a 20 hour flight. The rooms were recently renovated. Everything was in top shape. Each room had a kitchenette with a selection of co - Moshe, the proprietor, was there waiting for us upon our arrival. We found him to be friendly, and eager to see that our stay at his hotel was an enjoyable one. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable. He even left little snacks for us. The hotel is in an excellent location - right in the center of town. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby - close to the train and the beautiful Ba'hai Temple and gardens.   Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We asked where we could buy some fruit, and they brought us delicious watermelon from the kitchen.   The hotel is really intrestingly decorated, it felt pleasant to stay there, like on the island of art. The room was nice and clean, probably not big enough for someone, but it was really just perfect for us. The room we got (#1) was very comfortable and we stayed there very satisfactorily for 4 nights (conference at Technion). Staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy to navigate to and from and to park. The dining options in the neighborhood are numerous, although we ended up eating at the restaurant next door because of its eclectic menu.   This is the best hotel I have stayed at in Israel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had all of the appropriate outlets for linking my electronics.   Cosy apartment house in a silent neighborhood. Perfect location, beach is just around the corner, there is always free parking in the street. A couple of stores and restaurants are close, but do not expect a high variety (for that, you will have to go inside the city). I highly recommend this for either solo travelers or family vacations.

Very friendly, helpful, speaks English very well.   First post on letsbookhotel.com. Me, my wife and 2 children (12 & 9) stayed at g38 for 10 days. This was our fist experience in this type of 'hotel'. There's no maid service, or changing of linens, or bringing new towels every day so if you're looking for a traditional hotel this is not the place for you.
