Abrahams Hostel - Bilder
Vad folk säger
It was in the city center, so close to hop-on-hop-off bus line, airport
tranfer bus stops right out side hostel, and close to main entertainment
area of Temple bar.
The staff at the hostel were very friendly and the hostel was very safe with a buzzer entry system, it also had a place to leave luggaged in a locked room if flight ect wasn't till evening like ours was meaning we didnt have to carry our bags around all day. staff also very helpful in giving tourist advice on places to visit and eat. alla recensioner »
Staff were nice and efficient. Not bad for a hostel in city center. Just remember it is a busy hostel and an old building so we heard people walking up and down the stairs frequently but it eventually quieted. Breakfast was sufficient - cold cereal, yogurt, toast, tea & juice. Simple yet good. I would recommend this place if you don't mind hostels.
I travel quite often and the best hostel is not yet met. Staff are fantastic. Delicious breakfasts. The bus stop to the airport outside the hostel. In the heart of the city. A lot of tourists and a desire to meet with everyone. Cozy, comfortable and a desire to return there.
Bus stop to the airport right outside the door.
In the city centre close to O'Connell Street with easy access to stops for the bus tours and a short walk to Trinity College.
The staff was very friendly and gave good recommendations for food.
Breakfast was generous, staff friendly and helpful, location was perfect not in the centre of bar district but only a short walk from everything.
easy check-in
budgetfriendly
very good location, not far from Custom house so a good base to plan your citytrip and evening activities!.
Private twin room was bigger than expected and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day!.
The wifi was good, breakfast was excellent and had good variety. The staff were really friendly!.
Rooms were big, clean and well furnished.
Lock room to keep our bags on arrival and leaving day.
I recommend this hostel because it has a good price, clean and location is at the city center.
Great price, superb staff and surprisingly good breakfast facilities. Great location.
great location, nice breakfast for a Hostel, easy handling and clean.

The area was safe and the staff very accommodating.
The location is good and the price is cheap.
Great breakfast and helpful friendly staff.
Everything and specially the breakfast :-).
everything is good on there
i like it.
all of the above marked as excellent.
Staff, breakfast, atmosphere.
Friendly staff.
Security
cheap.
breakfast :).
price.
Eventhough the room was shared between 6 people, there was a bathroom
inside of the room for the 6 people, which made it comfortable to use
this facilities. Well located. The breakfast is very good for the
price. There are tons of maps and guides at the reception. Free Wifi is
always a plus!.
It's very near (10 to 20 min. walk) to the center of the city and the monuments. It is possible to cook in the hostel kitchen, has all the facilities ,equipments and tableware for that.
Whenever you want, you can take aeroplane suttle in the accommodation(driver comes to pick you up in ground floor.).It is very comfortable and clean that all room are ensuit.
Room was clean and reasonably spacious. Good wi-fi connection. Location pretty good (5 minute walk to O'Connell street, 15 mins to Grafton Street pubs).
Walking distance to everything I wanted to do. GREAT breakfast to start the day. Good security and great people at the desk.
Fabulous location! 5 min walk to main bus and train station. Also very helpful staff.
Staff were really friendly. Breakfast was not gourmet, but generous and filling.
i like its cheap and breakfast was very good staff also very good and helpfull.
Good value for money, the staff was helpful and the place clean.
The location... It was near everything a traveller would want.
Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. Good location. Clean.
Close to buses and trains.
Safety.
Friendly staff, seemingly quite secure (location and behavior of staff). Reasonably sized rooms. Good shower. Cheap towels for rent. Pretty quiet environment (but see negative!). Mattress is reasonably stiff (but see negative). Free and fast Wifi, but unfortunately not in the rooms.
Only the staff and breakfast was excelent..hostel could be better with
few more things provided in a private room as you charge ..like a cattle
to make tea coffee..private T.v or start charging the same as
dorm...never gona stay here again in my entire life.
Location and an airport bus that stops at the hostel.
Really nothing to. Complain about. The facilities areabitold and worn., but not to.the point where it hindered anything. It is a busy hostel so be prepared - and there wasnmuch fridge space left.
Shower was rubbish, very difficult to turn off and mattress very sagging and uncomfortable - dbl bed room 44.
too many (fire)doors to go across from entrance to the rooms, which also means noise of slamming doors very early in the morning.
Checking-out at 10.30am - would have preferred a later check-out time of 11.30-12.00.
On our second stay we chose a 14 mixed dorm, and the toilet didn't work. A person in our room told staff but nothing was done.
Breakfast a bit poor (but what you want for the price?).
Nothing.
bad internet connection
some kind of a noise when flashing toilet.
I originally booked a female dorm, when I go back to my room in the evening there's no one there, but when I woke up in the next morning, I found there are some guys in the room, and it's actually a mixed dorm, I don't really appreciate this.
Nothing :-).
My stay wasn't long enough.
There weren´t recycling containers. Disorder in the fridge. Internet
underinsured.
windows didnt close right.
small rooms.
There are to many stairs when you have to carry you suircase up to your room.
Some of the guests where rather roudy and kept me awake the last night.
In the address of the hostal it should indicate that it's located in
lower Gardiner Street, because there exists: Gardiner Street, upper
Gardiner Street and lower Gardiner Street and our gps wasn't able to
find it, we had a hard time getting to the Hostal.
The bathroom was clean but in very bad shape. No lift for the rooms you have to carry your bags thru the floors. The kitchen was often dirt because the people who use it did not clean its own mess. Should have instructions for the stove usage. There are people who does not respect the others rest and talk loud at the corredors at 2 or 3 a.m. and bang the doors of their rooms.
public area is quite dirty. In the shelves, fudges are there many expired food and cluttered.
There aren't any ingredient like oil, source.
The internet is awful in the room. you NEVER use internet in your room. you may have to pay much money for roaming if you want to use data in your room.
There's not a lot to say either positive or negative really - it's an average hostel in every way, if you've ever stayed in one before you know what you're getting.
Too many beds in room, not enough space when all are trying to get dressed. Would be nice to have ONE CHAIR in room and lights over beds for reading in evening when others are sleeping.
Too much bleach!!!
Also, the price was a bit high for a hostel. We found similar hostels for much less in Belfast and Glasgow and a nice hotel in Dublin's medieval area for the same price. We are comparing rates for a three person family room.
Recommended only if location is your top priority.
Very loud -- lots of banging doors. Shower was broken.
rooms were not clean , i feel smell from carpets also showe were so small even u no can move good.
Poor condition of the bathroom.
A bit too noisy.
Not clean and not enough space in bathrooms.
Poor breakfast not perfectly clean messy luggage room smelly kitchen.
No storage (furniture) in room at all. Only one blanket for the double bed is ... so French. Breakfast is more a joke than anything else. Doors don't insulate well, thus the slamming door directly in from of our room woke us up several times a night. The mattress of the double bed is bent that hard, that the back hurts after trying not to roll into the middle during sleep. False fire alarm went off at 3am once, with no one around explaining what actually happened.
Everything except breakfast.
Staff are not helpful and unknowledgeable. One didn't even know where our room was in the hostel. The place has an air of chaos and is constantly noisy. The room was shabby and cold and we had to pay for our towels.
