Staff were very helpful, friendly and courteous and made you feel like you were at home, nothing was to much trouble. Great hotel, very nice staff :) I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast!. hotel bella vista, we swapped on day of arrival. alla recensioner
Good location, excelent view from the room (Cobh Bay). the view. the large and comfortable room/bed.....access to internet without extra charge. Beautiful view. Room was very comfortable and the view out across the harbour was stunning. The restaurant was very handy and good service. close to everything. very quaint.Views from room. Beautiful view of harbour. Good size room, clean. Staff friendly and helpful, when available.Very easy to find. Old fashioned B and B very good breakfast. Fantastic view from window. Very close to town no need to use car to see Cohb. Free parking just along the road close to B and B. Would recomend B and B only for the view and breakfast really just old fashion. The breakfast.room size. the poor English communication by receptionist on the night of my arrival. There had been a problem with Harleys guest house necessitating guests booked in there (including myself) being transferred to Bellavista Hotel in Cobh. Given the problem and my inability to locate the accommodation it would have been better public relations if the receptionist (a) clearly understood my problem and (b) had arranged for a taxi to meet me at the hotel upon my arrival. No staff present except at breakfast time. Our omm was very noisy both when the restaurant was open and after it closed with people walking over our heads well into the early hours. Not staffed except at breakfast time. No one available at arrival time which I provided in advance, in mid-afternoon. No one there except hours of 9:00 to 2:00, not family run, no family or staff during most of day on site, and therefore not a true "B and B". Harleys was closed, so we were directed to a sister property, the Bellavista. That was fine and the hotel was decent, but no notice of the cancellation/closure was unacceptable. There was just a note on the door that if they weren't there, go to the other hotel. Just book the other in the first place! FYI, it has a chinese restaurant in the lobby and the smell carries to all of the rooms. The rooms we were given were too small. The rooms we had booked had beengiven to another customer,.there were no staff oin site so when one ofthe other customers was noisy until the early hours we had no one tocomplain to. The free parking was on the street. The rooms were cold anddamp. The view was non existent. On our second night we could not open our room door the guest housewas unmanned there was nobody to contact we had to sleep on diningroom floor. When we arrived it was locked and we had to phone a number to come and open it for us. No staff on premises during our stay except for breakfast. The bed was the worst I have slept on. When arrived, was allocated a room without ensuite. This information was not available at time of booking. Was transferred to sister hotel where I was charged more for what I expected in first place.
