  Beautiful setting, lovely gardens. Perfect location on monkey forest road, seconds from shops and restaurants and a 2 minute walk to monkey forest. Staff were very helpful. Not a huge choice for breakfast and portion sizes smallish but the food was really nice. I ate in the restaurant too and the food was very nice. - The room, the location.

  A fantastic location opposite the excellent Indus restaurant, close to Sedona Spa and yet amongst serene rice paddies, Ananda Cottages is a great mid-range place to stay in Ubud. You're out of the bustle but only a few minutes to Cental Ubud.   Lodtunduh Sari is truly an oasis of tranquility and relaxation. It was easily the best accommodation during our 3-week trip across Southeast Asia (which also included 4- and 5-star hotels).   I liked many things about Bliss Bungalows. My room was large and spacious and had a fabulous view of the rice paddies. I often returned at the end of the day to a very clean room that was decorated with beautiful flowers on the bed and in the bathroom. The bed was firm and comfortable with good quality linens.   The staff at Villa Sonia were exceptional. Every request was met with a smile & nothing was too much trouble. There are only 9 rooms & each is very private, so at times we felt we were the only ones there even though all rooms were occupied. The rooms are clean and spacious & the balcony was great.   Amazing place! Service was top notch, they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed plus more. The view from our villa with the river view and personal infinity pool were amazing. Very private and comfortable. Beds were fantastic.   I come to Bali every year and rent house,but before i find the house i usually stay in Pertiwi.I love the location,you are in the middle of ubud,but at the same time away from the noise.Inside the resort it is very quite and peaceful,ask for a super deluxe room in the back (i stayed in room 126)It is kind of far from the entrance ,but a nice walk ... vad folk säger » wont hurt anyone and you can allways call for a resort transport and they will drive you to the entrance in 3 min)The guy at the reception was so help - From our 5 night stay @ Pertiwi.We enjoyed the fantastic views from our balcony, lush green gardens and ponds. 10 mins walking distance to markets. 5 mins walking to monkey forest. Cafe Wayan Bakery /Restaurant was a few doors up_bloody awesome food.A+++, We mostly ate there as the Pertiwi restaurant was quite average.Our room was cleaned each day with 2 bottles of water and fresh towels.
