  Our 2 night stay in Langahlid (number 3) was by far the highlight of our 2 week honeymoon in Iceland. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer here! The houses are superbly equipped from coffee machine to hot tub to gas bbq and impeccably clean (I couldn’t believe our house was built in 2006). Accommodation in Iceland can be expensive but I’d... vad folk säger » challenge anyone to find better value accommodation (given the views, location and house spec) on the planet. We enjoyed a lovely coffee and chocolat - Everything! A wonderful place in a beautiful spot. It was comfortable, and obviously built with great care and attention to detail. Also, a great price, we feel like we got more than we paid for. There is a great hike if you follow the gravel road up the hill behind the cabin that goes up and over a series of waterfalls, and I think eventually up to a lake, but we started too late and were running out of daylight after we got up past the third waterfall. The hot tub was great, such a nice view,

  It is really the upstairs of a duplex home. Extremely spacious and clean, fantastic for an extended visit or just a night. What really makes the place special is the hostess. We were trapped by a storm for a couple of extra days and her kindness was heaven sent. - It´s a large house with three rooms (two with king size beds, and one with two n... vad folk säger » ormal beds) and a big living room, nice and fully equiped kitchen, and a nice and huge bathroom. Everything was clean and the price is very good. Totally recommendable.
