  I'm afraid that if I describe Böne Vendégház accurately, everyone will stay there and I won't be able to get a booking next time I'm in Tokaj! Excellent and very friendly welcome and service. Our checkin started in my very basic Hungarian, and went on in the member of staff's basic (but very good) English. The entrance is a small courtyard winebar, with a good selection of local wines by the glass, bottl - Already stayed in the other guesthouse in Tokai, but that one is much more better. Very friendly staff. Clean and spacious room on the ground floor, with an access directly onto the patio, where wine cellar/bar operates in the evenings, and breakfast is served in the morning (btw very tasty). The place is so quiet, that it was not a problem, and remarkably facilitates the consumption. The other rooms seem to require climbing a fairly steep stairs.   The owner (the man) was very friendly (knows German and Hungarian, his wife knows English+.) It was VERY clean! The bedding smelled freshly washed. We slept in the 4-person unit that's in the tower. It had 2 stories, the top with 2 single beds, and the lower with 1 double bed. We had access to a refrigerator. The location is excellent. Tokaj is a... vad folk säger » neat little town and is a short walk from this panzio. We drove from here to see some of the castles and vineyards in the area. We really enjoyed it. - We received a warm welcome from our landlord, and the guesthouse is just at the end of this small town. His wife, who speaks English, was away, but he speaks good German. He recommended one of the many wine houses for a tasting, and he also arranged for us to visit a barrel maker in his small factory.

  The property was modern. The room was clean. The breakfast was enjoyable. The staff were welcoming. On site parking was available. Although there were some negatives with the room some being down to individual taste the property was overall value for money. - Well equiped room

And the owner, he is really special character in the most positive way! :) - I liked this hotel.
