  The service of Gombás Kúria Mension was very good. There were not many guests in the hotel when I was there, but the service (breakfast, room) was still perfect. Where do you find a hotelowner who cleans you carwindow before driving off? - Absolutely lovely building. Beautifully decorated.   This is a simple guest house but a very good one with excellent facilities for the money. The villa is a 10-minute walk down to the lakeside and the walk itself is very pleasant. The owners were delightful, friendly but also knew to leave us to do our own thing. They were also very accommodating in terms of any requests we had.   It is an interesting location, right across a mill stream from the old castle on the lake. The Eszterhazy Palace is around the corner, but it is not open and in need of much renovation. The hotel is right next to the lake, which has an excellent walking path. Boating is available, but we did not have time. There did not appear to be other restaurants close by, but we had a very nice dinne - Great location.We loved Tata. We were on the first floor and both of our rooms were large.   Once we managed to walk there (no taxis available at bus station) it was in a good location for walking around town. Staff was helpful. Ac worked (but we were charged for it); WiFi sometimes worked (but at least it was indeed free).

  Veronika is a very good host. She is very friendly & helpful. We were collected from the train station upon our arrival and dropped off upon our departure. She is always in good mood and forever smiling & laughing. She took time upon our arrival to show us on the map were all the amenities where in Balatonfured. I would have no hesitation in recommending Veronika's Villa for a stay. - Very nice apartments near the beach. Perfect location, considerate owner, good value for money, very quiet and peaceful place. Economy apartments are quite smal but equepped by all necessary stuff.
