I can't recall staying in a better city centre hotel than this and all at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for them. We loved everything about the hotel.We upgraded our room and stayed in a wonderful junior suite on the fifth floor.It was quiet,clean,big and the bathroom had a walk in shower and a jacuzzi.Plenty of closet space and a great bed.The staff was polite and very helpful.They spoke excellent English.They booked restaurants,massages and ordered taxis.I would defenitely recommend this hotel to all my friends.We also liked its situation,district 8.we walked everywhere.Good job!!!

Location is good: subway station, tram station in front of the hotel. Currency exchange office at the corner. Location is good (close to subway and railway station as well as to the main attractions and sightseeing routs), staff is also not bad, but we've got wrong tip on how to get to the funicular and were advised to buy tickets for hop-on/hop-off bus, but with no mentioning of the fact that price in hotel is higher than regular (and it's really weird even for Budapest). Nice staff, the recepcionist was reading Arany János, which qualifies for A+++++ rating in itself. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is well equipped also. The building has its own underground parking lot, which is definitely an advantage in this part of town. The main highlight of BPHome is the superb location: the House of Parliament, the Danube, the Basilica and the Andrássy Boulevard are in 5-10 minutes walking distance.

Rooftop terrace was lovely to relax in after a day's sightseeing, and there was an honesty bar, so you could enjoy a beer or glass of wine and the rooftop view.
Sangria each evening in the hotel lobby for you to grab a glass on your way back up to your room.
Rooms were lovely and spacious.
Staff happy to assist in booking taxis/tickets to the Szechenyi baths & other attractions.

Really nice room and relatively spacious - about 30 sq m. Breakfast in the hotel is very tasty. All products are very fresh. They make very good coffe, orange fresh and various eggs and creps made for you. Lunch&dinner dishes are excellent. Especially fish of the day and goat cheese salad. Bathroom is very nice and comfortable. Bed is really big and nice. Good location in the center.I liked the attitude. Very willing and attentive stuff.

Judit, who checked me in, was very generous with city information, suggestions and directions. She should be commended. The staff in general are all attentive and client oriented. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive and tasty. - It was fabulous! We really enjoyed ourseves. The hotel is really stylish.
