  Situation of hotel on a rock face right above a sandy beach - excellent views, and yet walking distance from restaurants and main street. Friendly owners made you feel at home. - The area surrounding the hotel and it was ideally situated with good views and near the beach.

  We absolutely loved the hotel and we'll definitely be back. The room was big, clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was decent, and generally it all looked very nice. We had a nice balcony with a magnificent sea view. - a wonderful location with the most beautiful sea bay view.

  A very big thank you to this lovely family. I was travelling alone with 2 children age 3.5 and 11 years old. I am Greek and we choose this hotel based on past reviews. The atmosphere is very romantic retro , decor is traditional greek with respect to tradition Beautiful gardens !! The mattress and pillows are very firm so it might not suit everyone though it was fin - Vagia hotel exceeded our expectations in all categories. To begin, the view from our room was spectacular and romantic. The decor of the hotel and the rooms is artistic, historic, understated and elegant. The breakfast food is simple and tasty and fresh with daily variations! Chockolate banana cakes to homemade jams and pies!   What a beautiful place!!! We had the most amazing time. The owner Mrs Maria made our stay so easy and comfortable! the hotel is so clean and quiet and the breakfast was amazing! It is 2 minutes on foot from the Ayia Marina beach and about 10 min from the port. in general all the stuff was very helpful and polite. We will definitely be back next ye... vad folk säger » ar! I did not find the walk into the main town to be a problem.

  We booked this last minute as we were unable to extend our stay at Spetzes hotel and were delighted with our stay. Customer care and attention, hotel character made this a memorable stay.   This was a well taken-care of hotel, stylish and the manager was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was spacious considering the small rooms that are usually available in Hydra and had plenty of sunlight and good view of the mountain.
