  Magnificent view of caldera and sunsets, as described. Upon arrival were surprised to have a suite with fridge and cooking facilities instead of only a double room with extra cot as ordered. This was very beneficial as we saved money on breakfasts and enjoyed hospitality on our balcony.   Mr. Sigalas is a wonderful host! He picked us up at the port and drove us to the villa. He had us laughing and feeling like we were part of the family. His two daughters run the reception and they will arrange anything you need. They were able to set up rental cars, restaurant reservations, boat trips, whatever. They had only been open for 2 years when we stayed there, and Mr S - I liked everything. I have been to Santorini before and the overall standard of accommodation is high at every price level. It is highly competitive too. What makes the Sigal stick out is the unassuming nature of your hosts, all members of the same lovely family who are always cheerful and overtly helpful without straying into the poncey attendant type operation that Santorini seems to have sprouted in abundance.   Lovely room with beautiful views. Very helpful friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. We were met at the airport and then taken to the port to catch our ferry to Crete.   The location is a little bit remote without a car, but this provides more privacy. I think it's a very nice location compare to the rather busier and noisier Oia or Fira. The view is superb and you can see both sunrise and sunset on both sides of the hotel. The service of the staffs are second to none.   Strogili has exceeded my expectations. I can not emphasize only one thing. The view from the terrace is spectacular and immense, the hospitality and friendliness of Andreas (the hotel manager) and all staff (Katrau, ...), cleaning is 10 points, breakfasts on the terrace, tranquility and relaxation ....   This has been one of the most memorable stay my wife and I had. 1) the owners are just amazing. They made us feel at home from the second we checked-in. Marios and Yannis are so friendly and welcoming! Marios recommended us a delicious restaurant (Sunset Taverna in Ammoudi Bay) for dinner when we arrived. In the morning, they would bring you breakfast an - Marizan has been the most impressive stay in the decade for me and my wife. We stayed with the Honeymoon cave type for 2 nights which is spacious and very clean. There are all necessary kitchen equipment. The hotel locates on the best sunset viewpoint , no need to reserve the seat like the public viewpoint that require to reach there 2-3 hours before sunset. Georgia and Giannis (Owners) took care us very great, we felt warm like staying at home. It takes only 10 minutes to the center of Oia. B

  The hotel is very very beautiful with the best location you can have in Santorini. We rented a Junior suit, with private jaccuzzi and it was just wonderful. Amazing sunset from your terrace, very nice bedroom. The owner is a ver nice person.
