  Maria's mountain tea was delicious. Rooms were a reasonable size and we were fortunate to have a large balcony to ourselves. Swimming pool clean and a reasonable size.   nicely positioned from the town, very peaceful and relaxing, the staff were fantastic, so helpful, Marina the manager, is an asset to this hotel. Great place to stay for the Matala festival. - Maids clean every day. Staff lovely and friendly. Evening meal good value for money. Breakfast plentiful. Owner and staff very hospitable.   Matala has a wonderfull beach with clear water in a bay far from large tourist groups. It is a small village. Nikos Hotel is a small family hotel with private sitting groups with nice shadow outside at least second floor rooms.
