  Very good location to the centre of the city - Acropolis and all other sights which you need to visit. It's easy to get to the hotel from the airport - you just need to get X95 bus and get the latest station, whole jorney will take about 45 minutes and 5 euro.   We loved our stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff, great service, personal approach. We felt at home there. The room had a retro style to it which reminded me my childhood home. I loved it. Every day we would - The staff at Acropolis were fantastic...very helpful and friendly. The location in the Plaka was convenient. We were able to walk most places and did not have to use the metro much at all. From our room the wifi was weak, but we could use a neighboring hotel's wifi and it was a good signal. We didn't eat the breakfast so I'm not sure how it was. The fridge in the room was not already turned on, so we had to turn it on. It was helpful to have an aditional mirror outside the bathroom for getting

  The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street. A big plus was the super-friendly restaurant right across the street, where I could get a half carafe of wine to take to the h... vad folk säger » otel's roof patio and have a drink while looking out at the acropolis. - The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

  Location was great for exploring Plaka, and all Athens monuments. It was also quiet. Our room on 3rd floor got Wifi signal, but the Wifi was only supposed to be in common areas. Big plus. The best thing about it, is the location, it was close to every attraction in Athens, just walking distance to Parthenon.

  I highly recommend this hotel for any kind of stay in Athens. The staff is very friendly. The value for money is splendid. The location is quite reasonable: the hotel is in a safe neighborhood, and the metro station is nearby (about ten minutes walk). Since I'm not interested in swimming pool, the only minus point of the hotel is the slow speed of the free-internet acce - Clean rooms. Junior suite had a nice balcony to smoke on with chairs and a table. Good ac. Super hot shower water if you wanted it. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff who gladly answered questions about the area. Close to the Megaro Metro station and us Embassy for landmarks and easy travel to and from the airport. Only five Euro taxi to the Acropolis area. Good burger and rib joint right on the other side of the street when you want something easy and simple.
